On the arts and creating public spaces, a discussion session was held in which Ahmed El Attar – founder of Orient Productions and D-CAF – participated during the 11th edition of “Spend The Day in Khalifa” organized by Megawra BEC, which discussed the relationship between art and public spaces.

It was an interesting discussion moderated by Yasmine El Dorghamy from “Rawi”, in which Attar participated as speaker alongside Amr Abu Tawila from the Archinos Architecture, Heba Al-Sheikh from Mahatat for Contemporary Art, and Reem Ayman from CLUSTER (Cairo Lab for Urban Studies).

During the discussion, the participants shared their experiences and practice of art in public spaces through their different projects, where El Attar shared insights gained through D-CAF’s Urban Visions program.
